It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Fisher, who was born on October 15, 1929, and passed away on November 6, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. He was the son of Joe Fisher Sr. and Lilly Fisher, and the beloved husband of Mary Lee Fisher, whom he married in 1964.
Joe was a devoted father to his five children: Jaqueline Elaine Nwaeze, Veronica Fisher Taylor, Arrison Marie Fisher, Yolanda Gail Fisher, and Joseph Terrell Fisher. He was also a loving grandfather to fifteen grandchildren. Joe had a passion for painting and spent countless hours creating beautiful works of art that brought joy to those around him.
Joe will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
