We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jocelyn Smith, who was born on March 3, 2020, and tragically left this world on the same day. Jocelyn resided in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is survived by her loving mother, Mary Elizabeth.

Jocelyn was a devoted mother to her five children: Tommy Burr, Ronald Burr, Donald Burr (spouse Jeanie Burr), Larry Burr, and Reginald Burr. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Jocelyn was a proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln Jr. Sr. High school, where she completed her studies in 1976. She went on to work for the City of Houston, where she made significant contributions and built lasting relationships with her colleagues.

Jocelyn will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
