OSSIPEE – Joanne Wezowicz Fish, 96, of Ossipee and formerly of Plainville, Conn. died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, with her loving family by her side.She was born on June 8, 1920, in New Britain, Conn. to Julian and Anna (Bjork) Wezowicz.  She graduated from the Moody School of Business in 1941.  She then became employed at Trumble Electric in Plainville where she met the man who became her husband and the love of her life, Harold W Fish.  They were married in 1945 at the United Church of Christ in Plainville where they became active members.Joanne was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, knitting, quilting, and her vacation home on Cape Cod.  She was blessed with four grandchildren and two great grandchildren whom she loved and enjoyed immensely.Joanne is survived by her daughter, Penny and son-in-law, Harlan Blanchard of Alton; grandchildren, Cheryl Ann West and son-in-law, Jason West of Wolfeboro, Amanda Jayne Blanchard of Alton, Erick Fish of Andover, Conn. and Allycia Fish of Wethersfield, Conn.; two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Cadence West.  She was pre-deceased by her husband, Harold W. Fish and son, Alan Harold Fish.There will be no calling hours.  A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, South Main Street, Wolfeboro.Interment will be held in the New Riverside Cemetery, Alton.Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, is in charge of arrangements.  If you wish to express condolences or leave a fond memory please visit, lordfuneralhome.com.
