TAYLORJoanne R. Joanne R. Taylor, age 80 of Midland, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Medilodge of Midland. The daughter of the late Edward and Lottie (Janczak) Pietras was born on February 14, 1936 in Toledo, OH. Joanne was a graduate of Woodward High School (Toledo, OH) and the University of Toledo with a degree in Pharmacy. On February 7, 1959, Joanne married Robert J. Taylor in Toledo, OH. After 55 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2014. She enjoyed a career of over 30 years as a pharmacist. Joanne enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Surviving are her children, Beth (Jess) Gonzalez of Austin TX, Brad (Mary) Taylor of Atlanta GA, and Brian (Tracy) Taylor of Midland; grandchildren, Kelsey, Laura, Kyle and Robert; four nieces and two great-nieces; and brother in-law, Paul Wood. In addition to her parents and husband, Joanne was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Wood; and special friends, Thom and Deb Hendrickson.Funeral services for Mrs. Taylor will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from the Wilson Miller Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI 48640, with Pastor Mark Burks of Our Redeemer Evangelical Free Church officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
