RACINE - Joanne R. Jones (nee: Bradley), 84, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2014. Joanne was born on March 27, 1930 in Racine to the late Gilbert C. and Ottilie M. (nee: Becker) Bradley. She was united in marriage to Hugh H. Jones, on May 21, 1949, in Racine. Joanne was a 1948 graduate of Park High School. She worked for Union Savings and Loan for 15 years, retiring in 1978. Joanne loved playing bridge, and reading. She had a passion for travelling to Las Vegas and Door County. Joanne is survived by her three daughters, Debra (David) Queen, Mary (William) Pfister, and Sarah Jones; grandchildren, Amanda (Edward) Struebing, Jeremy Pfister, Jordan Queen, and Bradley Jones; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, and Elise Struebing, Jaxon Pfister, and Aubrey Jones. Joanne will be dearly missed by many other special relatives and friends. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh; her parents, Gil and Til; her brother-in-law, Ronald E. Jones; sister-in-law, Suzanne Jones; and a stillborn great-grandson, Aiden Struebing. According to Joannes wishes, following cremation there will be private services held for immediate family.
