We mourn the passing of JoAnne Mahone, who was born on March 8, 1951, and passed away on September 3,2025, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Keith and Betty Mahone and the loving spouse of Late Tommy Jackson whom she married in 1985. JoAnne leaves behind her three children, Thomas Jackson, Samuel Jackson, and Karen Jackson Goolsby.Two loving sister Edna Harris (John)of Atlanta ga and Linda Williams (Steven) of Hazlehurst Ga. Most of all her seven adoring grandchildren who she cherished dearly.

JoAnne attended Jeff Davis High School and went on to work at A Loving Caregiver, where she dedicated her time and energy to helping others. She retired in 2023 after a fulfilling career of compassion and service.

Outside of her work, JoAnne had a passion for singing, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.

JoAnne's death was a result of an extended illness, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, laughter, and unending strength.
