Joann Chapman was born on June 26, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. She attended Glenville High School and graduated with a passion for learning. Joann loved to drive and found joy in exploring new places and experiencing new adventures behind the wheel.

Throughout her life, Joann worked at various jobs, but her true love was spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Khadijah Chapman and Yahne Chapman, and a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren.

One of Joann's favorite pastimes was hanging out at Frecks on Saturdays at 1 pm, where she would catch up with friends, enjoy good food, and share stories. She cherished these moments and the memories created at her favorite spot.

On April 9, 2024, Joann Chapman passed away due to kidney failure, which ultimately led to heart failure. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Joann's spirit and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
