Smith, JoanJoan Smith, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016.She was born on October 15, 1929 to the late Everett & Mabel (Kendall) Ellis.Joan was a member of the Vermillion Grove Quaker French Church.Survivors include her son, Steve (Debbie) Banta; brother, Kenneth (Margaret) Ellis; and sister-in-law, Rose Ellis.She is preceded in death by her brothers, Gene (Lois) Ellis and William Ellis.Private graveside services were held at Vermillion Grove Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the or the Humane Society of Brown County.Newcomer Funeral Home is assisting the family in arrangements.
