ElizabethLash, Joan Marie (Koeberlein),Joan Marie (Koeberlein) Lash, 88, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. In her earlier years, she enjoyed square-dancing with her husband and loved to travel. Joan was a parishioner at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish in Louisville.Joan was born on January 22, 1929 in Louisville, KY to the late Frank J. & Anna C. (Reeder) Koeberlein. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester G. Lash; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.Joan is survived by her children, Joseph Lash and his wife, Carole, and Judith Lash, all of Louisville, Kentucky, Janet Young and her husband, David of New Albany, John Lash and his wife, Dorothy of Geneva, Illinois, and Jeanine Gruner and her husband, Stephen of LaGrange; grandchildren, Ashley, Elizabeth, Katherine, William (Elizabeth), Lauren, Stephen, Eric, Matthew, and John; and great grandchildren, Zane & Grant. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish (3511 Rudd Ave, Louisville, KY 40212) with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
