It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Frances Conkling, a longtime resident of Peekskill, New York, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 89. She was known for being a caring wife,mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Joan was a dedicated volunteer at the Peekskill Community Hospital before becoming employed at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center as supervisor of Central Sterile Supply. She had a passion for playing her slot machines in Atlantic City. Joan will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her ability to bring joy to all those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
