JASPER, Joan Ellen May 22, 1932 - January 16, 2017 On Monday January 16, 2017, Mrs. Joan Ellen Jasper of Osoyoos passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles Monty Jasper. Survived by her two sons Wayne (Maureen) and Doug (Ruth) Jasper, along with her great-grandchildren David, Kristen, Sierra, Darcy and Lee and several great grand-children. Joan was born on May 22, 1932 in Halifax, NS and recently settled in Osoyoos, BC having lived most of her life in of Victoria, BC where she moved as a child. Joan was active in the Daughters of the Nile as a past Queen and Red Hats Society. Joan was a member of the Osoyoos United Church, previously a member of Oak Bay United Church in Victoria, BC. A memorial service for Joan will held at the Osoyoos United Church on February 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
