Ebeling, JoanJoan D. Ebeling, 84, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She was born on December 24, 1932, in White Law, WI, to the late Wilbert and Cele (Champeau) Grall. Joan graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1951 and on May 29, 1954, she married Merlin Ebeling at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Catholic Church, Green Bay. She had a passion for the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed watching them play. In her free time, Joan also enjoyed resaling and thrift shopping. Joan was an active and lifelong member at St. Willebrord and a part of the Alter Ministers' Group. Joan and her husband owned and operated Merlin Ebeling Trucking for many years. She also worked at Fort Howard Paper Mill for 18 years until her retirement.She is survived by her children, Mark (Donna) Ebeling, their children, Andy and Amy; Lynn Bayne and her daughter, Amanda (Brian); Frank Ebeling; John (Cynthia) Ebeling, and their children, Cassie and Alex; Tom (Shelly) Ebeling, and their children, Crystal, Rachael, Sally, Chelsea (Josh); Dan Ebeling, and his son, Zach (Erin); numerous great-granchildren; siblings, Geri (Mel) Deprey, Janice Beyer, Ron (Jane) LeRoy, Karen Grall, Jim Grall, Bob (Claire) Grall, Kathy Grall, Mike Grall, Mary (Allan) Roberts, Cindy (Bob) Safford; and her two best friends, Emily Rueckl, and Sue CieslewiczJoan was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Merlin; one grandson, Nicholas; step-mother, Eleanore Goggins; brother Gordy Grall; and brothers-in-law Edmund Beyer, and Robert (Doris) Ebeling.Friends may gather at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St., on Friday, May 5, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Andrew Cribben, O.F.M. will preside. Burial will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
