WEISGERBER, Joan AgathaJoan passed away peacefully at Pioneer Village on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Mary Weisgerber; brother Bert; sister Annette; and brother-in-law Joe Zyla. Joan is survived by sisters Marian Weisgerber, Grace Zyla and Maddy (Len) Mastel; brother Don (Kristine) Weisgerber; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was born on the farm near Vibank, SK on July 12, 1932. She moved to Regina where she worked for J.I. Case Company for over 30 years. Joan will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Village for the care of Joan over the past couple years. A VISITATION will be held Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 425 Broad Street North, Regina, SK on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 – 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
