Ackermann, Joan,Joan Lee Ackermann, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was born on April 19, 1931 to the late Joseph F. and Carolyn H. Ackermann. Joan graduated from Ursuline College and was a long time executive secretary at General Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard and longtime companion Jane W. Reisert. She is survived by her brothers Robert (Margaret), Joseph (Connie), Paul (Carolyn), sister-in-law Mary Lee and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 9:00am until the time of the Mass at 11:00am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 315 East Chestnut Street Jeffersonville, Indiana.
