Obituary:

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmy Ross, born on January 1, 1948, and departed from this world on October 26, 2023. Jimmy was a beloved member of Las Vegas Nevada,leaving behind a profound impact on the lives of all who knew him.

Jimmy was born to proud parents, John and Alice Ross, and was raised in Los Angeles. He grew up in a loving household, surrounded by his siblings, cousins, and extended family. From a young age, Jimmy exhibited a zest for life and a determined spirit that would shape his journey in the years to come.

Educated in the local public school system, Jimmy excelled academically and discovered a passion for learning. He was a diligent student who approached his studies with unwavering dedication. He attended the esteemed University of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he pursued a degree in engineering.

Upon graduation, Jimmy embarked on a successful career in aerospace engineering. His innovative ideas and extraordinary problem-solving abilities earned him a reputation as one of the industry's finest minds. Jimmy's contributions to the field were recognized with numerous accolades and awards.

Though his professional life was distinguished, Jimmy found true joy in his personal relationships. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Emily, whom he met during his college years. Their enduring love and unwavering commitment served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Together they built a beautiful life, filled with adventures, laughter, and cherished memories.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Emily Ross; his children, Jonathan and Sarah Ross; and his adoring grandchildren, Michael and Emma Ross , Tyra, marshanna and Jeremiah . He was a pillar of strength and support to his family, always prioritizing their well-being above all else.

Aside from his professional and family accomplishments, Jimmy had an adventurous spirit that could not be restrained. He was an avid traveler, exploring faraway lands and immersing himself in diverse cultures. His thirst for adventure took him to the highest peaks, the depths of the oceans, and every corner of the world in between.

Jimmy's compassion and empathy were unwavering. He dedicated much of his free time to various philanthropic endeavors, tirelessly working to make the world a better place. His kindness touched the lives of many, providing comfort and aid to those who needed it most.

Throughout his life, Jimmy was known for his infectious laughter, his unwavering optimism, and his ability to see the beauty in every situation. His genuine personality and warm heart endeared him to all who crossed his path.

Jimmy Ross leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire others to live a life that is meaningful, selfless, and filled with love. He will forever be missed but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held at the Las Vegas lake Memorial Hall on November 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association, causes close to Jimmy's heart.
