We are saddened to announce the passing of Jimmy Mitchell, who was born on June 3, 1942, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States, to his parents Daniel Mitchell and Elizabeth Gwendolyn Emsminger. Jimmy peacefully passed away on January 6, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his partner Karon Mitchell and their seven children: Brenda Kish Hoover, Jimmy Dan Mitchell Jr with spouse Elaine Mitchell, Steve Lewis Mitchell, Joshua Head (Stepson), Amanda Head (Stepdaughter), Matthew Head (Stepson), and Hollie Cotner (Stepdaughter). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.

Jimmy proudly served in the Air Force and was a dedicated member of his community. He had many hobbies, including his love of his faith and God, nature photography, studying his bible, gardening, tending to his mini farm, and camping. Jimmy was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Jimmy Mitchell.
