Jewel Dean Bell1934-2016Jewel Dean Bell, 81, of Fred, died Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was born on December 30, 1934, in Clay County, Kentucky, to Edna Hacker and Thomas Robert Woods. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Bell of Fred; son, Donald Wright of Euless; grandchildren, Salvatore Nappo of Plano and Karla Pilkington of Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Judah Pilkington and Kyra Pilkington, both of Weatherford; and sisters, Jeanie Fritz of Louisville, Kentucky; Virginia Wallis of Arizona; Juda Marcum of Kentucky; Truda Tabert of Arizona; and Shirley Leonard of Huntsville. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Herman Woods; daughter, Debra Nappo; and grandson, Donald Wright, Jr.A gathering of Mrs. Bell's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Broussard's, with interment to follow at Baker-Bell Cemetery, Fred.
