It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesus Valadez, a Beloved Son, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, and Cousin.

Jesus Valadez, passed away on July 1st, 2023 leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born on Febuary 1st,1955 in Hastings, Michigan and grew up in the close-knit community of Lansing, Michigan.

He was a graduate of Everest High School in Lansing, Attended Lansing Community’s College where he laid the foundation for a life filled with meaningful connections and lasting friendships. Jesus Valadez took pride in his Native American and Mexican American heritage, actively participating in various pow wows and cultural events that celebrated his roots. He carried the traditions and values of his ancestors with grace, sharing their wisdom with those around him and fostering a deep sense of cultural identity within his family.

He is survived by his loving mother Gregoria Rodriguez, his children Angela, Hanaan, and Kamal, his cherished grandchildren, Nalah, Milaan,Yaseen,Yasmeen, Felix,Cristina, Illiana, Alejandro & Terencio. Sister Gloria Valadez, Georgia (Donald) Peasley, brother Robert Rodriguez and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. 

In loving memory of our father, let us celebrate the life of a remarkable man who graced this world with his presence. While words cannot fully capture the essence of his being, I would like to share a few thoughts on the impact he had in our life and the legacy he left behind.

Our father was a source of strength and guidance, a pillar of support who provided unconditional love and care. He held a special place in our hearts, and his wisdom and encouragement shaped us into the person we are today. Through his actions and words, he instilled values that will continue to guide us throughout our journey.

He possessed a remarkable blend of kindness and strength, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His generosity was boundless, and his compassion touched the lives of many. Whether it was within the family or the broader community, he made a positive difference wherever he went.

His love for life was infectious, and he had a way of bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. From his gentle humor to his warm presence, he had the ability to brighten even the darkest of days. The memories we share together, filled with laughter and joy, will forever be cherished.

Our father's legacy extends far beyond his physical presence. It lives on through the lessons he taught, the values he instilled, and the love he shared. As we carry his memory in our hearts, may we find solace and strength in the cherished moments we had together.

Our father will always be with us in spirit, guiding and watching over us as we navigate life's challenges. His love will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us of the incredible bond we shared.
