Jesus Chavez, his friends and family called his Chuy, was an only son. He was 17 years old and attended East Fresno High school in Fresno, California. Born October 30, 1986, Chuy passed on Friday October 23, 2003, by 3 stabs, one left of his heart, the second just above his belly button, and the third in his lower back. Chuy enjoyed long distance running, he had won ribbons from cross country, he also liked weightlifting. Chuy is survived by his dad Jesus (40), his mom (40), Uncle Richard (23), and his cousin Eddie (18). Chuy's rosary and viewing will be at the Everlasting Light Mortuary. His funeral will be held at Saint John’s Cathedral, where he was baptized and had his first holy communion.
