We are saddened to announce the passing of Jessie Villarreal, who left this world on February 27, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on October 2, 1945, in San Marcos, Texas, Jessie was the beloved child of Jose and Mariah Villarreal.

In 1965, Jessie tied the knot with his loving spouse, Martha, and together they raised four wonderful children: Juanita, Joseph, Pedro, and Guadalupe. Family was always the center of Jessie's world, and he took great joy in watching his family grow and thrive. He adored his seven grandchildren, who brought endless happiness into his life.

Jessie was a proud graduate of San Marcos High School, Class of 1963, and later went on to earn his degree from Texas Tech University in 1967. He had a passion for giving back and dedicated his time to the American Red Cross organization, helping those in need.

During his 12 years of service in the US Army Delta unit, Jessie reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication and commitment to his country were truly admirable.

When he wasn't busy with work or volunteering, Jessie enjoyed spending his free time indulging in his hobbies of fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He found solace in the great outdoors and cherished the adventures he shared with family and friends.

Jessie Villarreal will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and infectious laughter. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
