Jessica Elliott, 39, of Candler, North Carolina, passed on September 24, 2023. Jessica was born on May 10, 1984

Jessica was free spirited. She love the outdoors, she was adventurous, spontaneous. She was beautiful inside and out, she was smart and witty. Sometime in late 2019 early 2020 something went askew. She found herself in an abusive relationship. She lost everything, the life she had built for her and her children. For the last three years she has traveled across country, there and back, abused verbally, mentally, emotionally and physically. She has run for her life only to be dragged back in. Family begged her daily to please get away, protect yourself

Saturday September 23rd didn't start out any different than the last 1065 days, but ended with Jessica's life on Sunday September 24th at 3:30am.

I need her story to be told. Domestic violence is never ok. A celebration of Jessica's life for close family and friends will be on Tuesday,October 10th at Leicester community center at 1 pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring dishes of food, pictures you may have to share with everyone of your memories of Jessica, and we will celebrate her life!
