Jesse Ray Moore, 58, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his brother’s home. 

He was born on September 22, 1965 in Virginia to the late Troy Melvin Moore, Sr. and Marie (Miller) Moore. 

Jesse worked for Kent & Sons, VCC and Troy Moore Home Improvements. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Martha Miles, Sally Green and Alice Griffin. 

Jesse is survived by his wife, Terri Moore; six siblings, Nancy Morgan (Carl), Jane Dunbar (Jack), Troy Moore, Jr. (Pam), Frances Rodgers, Glenn Moore (Lidia) and Franklin Moore (Carloyn); and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Midland Cemetery, 5525 Catlett Road, Midland, Virginia 22728. Please be advised there will not be a formal funeral procession to the cemetery. Friends and family will be meeting at the cemetery for the service.
