After a battle of declining health, Jesse Outlaw, 64, of Deep Run passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. Born on June 3, 1953, he was the son of Charles Stanley  Outlaw and Gaynelle Outlaw who predeceased him.

 

Jesse was also predeceased by his nephew, Robert Carey Rock, and father-in-law, Rivers Baker. 

 

Jesse is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Sandra Baker Rouse and his daughter, Kasey Michelle Rouse. Survivors also include his sister, Brenda Rouse Rock; nephew David Andrew Rock III; and great-niece, Emzy Grace Rock. Other survivors include mother-in-law Eleanor Baker; sister-in-law Debra King; brothers-in-law Michael Braswell and wife Joan, and Kenneth Baker and wife Nancy; along with several nieces and nephews.

 

Jesse was a graduate of Kinston High School, East Carolina University, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jesse was a member of Faith Fellowship Church and attended faithfully until his health declined.

 

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church 802 S. Caswell Street LaGrange, NC 28551 at 6:00 PM with the Reverends Ronnie Hobgood and Chris Singleton officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Harmony Hall Nursing & Rehab and Continuum Hospice.
