We are saddened to announce the passing of Jesse Waites, who was born on October 3, 1935, in Jefferson, Texas, United States, to parents John and Betty Waites. Jesse peacefully passed away on May 5, 2024.

Jesse was married to Mae Phillips in 1957 and they were blessed with five children: Rae, Marinel, Arthur, Ernest, and John. Jesse was also a loving grandparent to nine grandchildren.

Jesse attended Marshall High School and later served in the US Army. He was passionate about fishing and spent many hours enjoying this hobby.

Jesse will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
