Brown, Jesse D. Jr.,82, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. He was born on August 23, 1934 to the late Alvina and Jesse Brown, Sr. He served in the Kentucky Air National Guard, was a member of Electrical Union 369 for 55 years and was a member of the Simpsonville Christian Church.Jesse is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Whitlow Brown; daughter, Karen Brown Paasch (Steve) ; son, Jesse D. Brown, III; grandchildren, Rebecca A. and Jonathan B. Paasch; sister, Marie B. Steinburger; and a special friend, Dwight Spurrier.Funeral services will be held at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville, on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 3:00 pm with burial in Middletown Historic Cemetery.
