Jesse "Con" CollinsLANCASTER: Jesse "Con" Collins 79 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born on September 15, 1937 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Robert R. and Josephine Meadows Collins. He was a retired Supervisor at Goodyear with over 30 years of service. Jesse attended the River of Life Church in Carroll, Ohio. He liked country music and was part of the family bluegrass band playing the guitar, mandolin and singing. He enjoyed collecting harmonicas and watching western shows and movies. Jesse is survived by his fiance', Eva Anthony; two daughters, Cindy Collins of Logan, Ohio and Lisa Sinift of Lancaster, Ohio; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, sister, Velma Payton of New Boston, Ohio; brothers, Ben (Sue) Collins of Michigan, Richard Collins of Heath, Ohio, Lennie (Nora) Collins of Pennsylvania and twin brother, James Collins of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Lynn Collins, sister, Roberta Stella and Ann May Kelly and a brother, Carl Collins.A Memorial service will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130. Caring Cremation® has taken place. Family and friends may visit Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
