Born September 23, 1960 in San Jose, California, Jerry Paredes Sr. passed away on March 18, 2023, leaving behind a long list of friends and family who will always remember him with a smile on their faces.
Jerry was a man of many talents. He was a fantastic cook, a lover of all things sports-related, and the reigning champion of karaoke night at the local bar.
Despite his many accomplishments, Jerry will always be remembered for his uncanny ability to fall asleep at the most inappropriate times and places. Whether it was during a business meeting or a family gathering, Jerry could always be counted on to doze off at the most inopportune moments.
Of course, Jerry was much more than just a guy who liked to nap. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a loyal friend. He always had a joke to tell or a shoulder to cry on, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Jerry's name to your local sports team or karaoke club. Jerry would have wanted nothing more than to support the things he loved most in life.
Farewell, Jerry. You may have snoozed your way through life, but you woke up in the hearts of everyone who knew you.
