Jerry PrescottCollinsJerry Marshall Prescott, age 85, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Prescott was born on June 17, 1931 to George and Minnie Prescott. He was a member of Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Collins, MS and a retired Forester. He loved going fishing and playing his music with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sarah Viola Bond Prescott; his brothers, Carl Prescott, Marshall Prescott, Albert Prescott, David Prescott and Bill Prescott.He is survived by his wife, Tonie Rogers Prescott; four children, Sarah Rogers (Jim McArthur)of Wiggins; Judy (Jerry) Whiddon of Purvis; Steve (Jeanne) Prescott of Wiggins; Randy (Sharon) Prescott of Wiggins; and Sharyn Prescott of Wiggins; one sister Betsy Thompson of Pubelo, Colorado; two sister-in-laws, Nina Prescott of Petal, MS and Margie Prescott of Supply, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Rogers, Mary Beth (Josh) Rogers, Jeffery (Miranda) Rogers, Angie Whiddon (Joe Hunt), Jenna (Daniel) Rogers, Terrell (Meagan) Prescott, Darci (Ashton) Stockman, Hannah (Arrmon) Abedikichi, Leighann Prescott (Josh Farmer), Carlie Prescott, Kiley Hough, twelve great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Remy, Maggie Grace, Hattie Rose, Vivianne, Morgan, Brice, Ivie, Eden, Maverick, Ruby, Penelope. Two step sons, Bill (Jerri) Rogers of Collins and Bruce Rogers of Collins; Four step-grandchildren, Cole Rogers, Heather (Brian) Bagwell, Natalie (Brad) Tolar, Mary Kathryn (Tyler) Dossett; three step great grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt, Kase. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 10:00-12:00 at Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Collins, MS and from 5:00-8:00 at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home at 10:00. Burial will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Wiggins, MS.
