Jerry Captain, 68, passed on October 18th , 2022. He was born to Leon Captain , Sr., and Louella Tyler Captain on January 21st, 1954 in Kinder , LA. He worked at El Paso Gas Company until his retirement. He loved nature , horses , and spending quality time with his family , especially his daughter and grandchildren.  

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter , Lashara Lampkin ( Leland ) of Lake Charles , LA ; two sisters , Patricia Captain of Kinder , LA and Sarah Captain of Baton Rouge , LA ; one brother , Leon Captain , Jr., of Oberlin , LA ; five grandchildren , Bianca Bracero , Braylon Holley , Cynthia Lampkin , Leland " Brock " Lampkin ; one great grandchild , Izabella Edwards and a host of nieces , nephews , other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents , Leon, Sr., and Louella Captain ; his siblings , Sheila Faye Captain , Kathy Ann Tillis , Ronald Anthony Captain and Helen Joyce Captain.
