Jerry Mulchi Jr., affectionately known as "Broman," passed away on May 2, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on February 27, 1946, in South Hill, Virginia, Jerry lived a life marked by hard work, spirited conversation, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Jerry was well known among those who knew them for their vibrant personality and unmistakable gift of talking—a talent that earned them the nickname "Broman" and left a lasting impression on everyone they met. Their life was shaped by a strong connection to nature and a passion for the logging and pulpwood industry, where they found both purpose and pride in their work.
Fishing, hunting, and music were central joys in Jerry’s life. Whether casting a line into quiet waters or heading into the woods during hunting season, they embraced these pursuits with enthusiasm. Music added rhythm to their days and reflected the spirit with which they approached life.
Jerry is lovingly remembered by their sisters Vicky Carroll and Sophie Carroll; nephew Thomas Carroll; and nieces Katherine Perez, Nikki Carroll, and Lisa Marie. Their presence will be deeply missed by all who shared in their stories, laughter, and unwavering energy.
May Jerry’s memory bring comfort to those who knew them and serve as a reminder of a life lived with passion and authenticity.
