It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Pirtle, 59, of Union City, Tennessee. Jerry left this world on October 31, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1965, and brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, quick wit, and love for life. His parents were Geneva Crumble and Freddie Max Johnson. Jerry attended Union City High School in Union City Tennessee. He had a passion for music, sports, and spending time with friends. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of compassion and positivity that will continue to inspire all. Jerry's family consist of his daughter Jherika, two brothers, Sidney Pirtle, Steve Johnson and a vast cast of cousins who were lucky enough to have him. He has been sick with cancer for a number of years and residing with his mother during that time. May he rest in peace.
