Jephthah A. Bush “Jeff” or “Cutty” was born May 21, 1958, to late Eddie L. Bush and Anna B. Bush at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Jeff is the 5^th child of 6 children. He was 3 older brothers Edward “Butch” Bush, Ronald Bush, Timothy “Timmy” Bush 1 older sister Andrea Bush-Garvin and 1 younger sister partner and crime Deirdre “DeeDee” Bush-Robinson. Jeff attended PS118, then JHS291, and Cardozo High School in Queens, New York. In 1979 Jeff and Doreen McGregor had a beautiful bundle of joy they named Fatiemah “Tima” McGregor. In 1985 Jeff and LeVonne “Leggs” Gardener had a beautiful bundle of joy they named JeVonne “Jay” Bush. Jeff loved his family with his heart and soul, he was a protector. Those that know Jeff knows he did not play about his family and friends. Jeff was known and loved by everybody everywhere. Jeff loved the streets, and the streets loved him. He had a special unique gift for making people laugh till their stomachs hurt and tears coming from their eyes. All that knew him could appreciate his humor and energy. Their isn’t a person who wouldn’t have a thousand stories to tell. Jeff has a character that would light up a room. He loves to party and was the life of the party. He loved sports, playing cards, dominos, music, dice, turning up, dressing fly, drinking cold beers, smoking Newport’s, and spending quality time with family and friends. Jeff is the originator of what when call “being outside”. Jeff was always there when you needed him no matter what state or borough you were in, he was there. He had a catalog of quotes such as “I’m high as gas”, “4lb put em down”, “look at this joker here”, “gotta keep it in the cut”, and “dead and stinking” just to name a few and the list goes on. Words can’t express how much you impacted us, and your presence will be missed. Heaven got a real one and his name is Jeff aka Cutty. Keep watching over us and protecting us as you always have.
