It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffry Allen Smith Sr. who was born on June 24, 1955, in Antioch, California, and passed away on January 22, 2026. He is survived by his two sons.

Jeffry was the son of Harvey Alfred Smith and Beverly Joyce Smith. He was a devoted father to Jeffry Allen Smith Jr., Steven Anthony Smith, and Jonathan Anthony Smith. He was also a cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jeffry attended Antioch High School and graduated in 1973. He went on to work for the family business and then for Local Union 4, where he dedicated many years of service as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

In his free time, Jeffry enjoyed boating, riding and working on motorcycles. He was known for his love of adventure and the outdoors.

Jeffry's passing was a result of complications from pneumonia. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
