Jeffrey W. Newton59, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:17 p.m. at IU Health Arnett.Jeff was born on February 2, 1958 in Lafayette to the late William and Wilma (Butler) Newton. He graduated from Seeger High School in 1976.Jeff is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Marsha D. (Morris) Newton, who he married on August 29, 1987. He drove a school bus for Tippecanoe School Corporation for 10 years.Jeff enjoyed outdoor activities including mowing, fishing, and camping. He also really enjoyed working with his hands. He was a lifelong Cowboys fan, and a NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon. Surviving along with his wife, are 3 daughters, Cassidy L. Newton of Lafayette, Miranda J. (husband: Brant) Cords of Lafayette, and Tess S. Newton of Lafayette, a grandson, Hudson W.
