Jeffrey Arthur Yard, age 48, of Clarington, PA, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, January 25, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 25, 1967, in Frankfurt, Germany, while his family was stationed there. Jeff is the son of Jerry A. and Diana J. (Gaston) Yard; both parents survive him. On August 15, 2009, he married Nicole Rhine at their home in Clarington, she also survives him. Jeff worked as a Graphic Designer and his designs can be seen all throughout Pennsylvania on billboards and company signs. He was a hunter and enjoyed the time he spent doing that with his boys when they were younger. He liked playing his guitar and was an avid artist. Jeff liked sports in general but was a big Penguins fan. In addition to his wife and parents, Jeff is survived by 4 sons; Jesse F., Dillon W., Brendan J., and Jeremiah N. Yard; 2 step-sons, Noah A. and Jacob I. Midcap; 3 sisters, Carrie (Tracy) Snyder, Marsha (Jason) Vandervort, and Jill (Nick) Greenawalt; 1 nephew, Jarrett; 4 nieces, Jenna, Rhiannonn, Averie, and Eden. He is preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Amber. According to his request, there will be no public services and the arrangements are under the direction of the McKinney - d'Argy Funeral Home, Brookville PA. Interment will take place at Hominy Ridge Cemetery, Barnett Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Mt.
