We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Jeffery Hicks, who left this world on December 22, 2025, at the age of 65 Jeffery was born on November 5, 1960, in Crawfordville, Florida, Jeffery was the beloved son of George Thomas and Sarah Jane Hall Hicks.

Jeffery received his formal education in Wakulla County Schools, Jeffery was proceeded in death to 7 siblings Sylvester, Jerelene, Alfred, Shun, Valerie, Constance and Allen. Jeffery has 2 aunts Mary Thomas Nelson and Betty Thomas Green. 1 uncle Alphonso Thomas. Jeffery is survived by his loving spouse Tatia Danzy Hicks, 6 children: Latoya Robinson, Jolonda Hicks, Allen Hicks, George Hicks, Jaleesa Hicks, Jashua Hicks, and 2 stepsons Toddrick Rivers, and James Smith. 2 sisters Ann Lewis/Elijah Lewis and Sandra Timmons. 1 brother Winston Hicks. 10 grandchildren Mikia Hawkins, Amari Hicks, Liam, Noah and Michael Tindale, Sofia Hicks, Ceelo Hicks, Aisley Hicks, Damaya Robinson Jazirah Smith, 1 great grand Jasmine Dureaux. 2 sisters in laws Jackie and Sharon Danzy and 1 brother in law Robert Danzy and many more family and friends that loved him.

Jeffery attended Wakulla County Schools and went on to work at Wakulla Springs until his retirement in 2023. He was known for his dedication to his job, his love for fishing.

Although Jeffery may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Jeffery Hicks, you will be dearly missed.
