Celebration Of Life

Jeannie Morris

(February 27, 1967 - August 21, 2023)

Jeannie Morris, a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 56, surrounded by her family. She fought bravely against Breast Cancer, yet her positive spirit prevailed until the end.

Jeannie was born on February 27, 1967, to her late parents Aaron and Marjorie Morris. She grew up in a loving family, and though her parents are no longer with us, their memory lives on through Jeannie's tremendous kindness and strength.

In 1985, Jeannie graduated from Shaw High School, where she not only excelled academically but also forged lifelong friendships. She always cherished her high school years and remained connected with her classmates throughout her life.

Professionally, Jeannie dedicated herself to her work at Lincoln Electric. Her dedication and commitment earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Jeannie's persistent drive and hard work were truly an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of working with her.

Outside of work, Jeannie found great joy in being an active member of the Mt. Zion organization. She dedicated countless hours to helping the community through her volunteer work at the church. Jeannie's selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many, reminding us all of the power of kindness.

Jeannie's love for her family knew no bounds. She married her high school sweetheart Donald Johnson after 10years of marriage they divorced. She leaves behind her partner James Winters, with whom she shared a beautiful journey full of love and happiness. Together, Donald and Jeannie raised three wonderful children: Lacresha, Nakeisha, and Bianca. Jeannie's pride for her children knew no limits, and her love for them was immeasurable.

Among her greatest joys were her three grandchildren. Jeannie cherished every moment spent with Kamari, Kayla, and Kendall. Their laughter brought her immense happiness and served as a reminder of the strong legacy of love she leaves behind.

Jeannie Morris will forever be remembered for her contagious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She lived her life with grace, filled with compassion and generosity for all she encountered. Jeannie's spirit will continue to inspire us as we navigate life's ups and downs, reminding us to cherish each day and spread love to those around us.

Let us celebrate Jeannie's life, cherishing the memories we shared with her. Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
