OBITUARY

On the day of Tuesday, November 02 2021, at approximately 8:30am, a loving, hard working beautiful soul was called home to paradise in heaven.

Jeannette was born May 311947, to Lulumae Powell and James Powell In Portsmouth, VA

Jeannette attended I.C Norcom Highschool in Portsmouth, VA after attending highschool she moved to Washington DC where she continued, the rest  of her life. Jeannete was later employed underneath her longtime best friend Mary Folks where she spent a good amount of years working for her.

Jeannette was a kind, giving and loving soul. Everywhere she went she was known, welcomed and loved. Jeannette was a faithful woman relying on her love and faith in Jesus; everything she did was with gratitude and happiness. Jeannette spent most of her time with her family, in church at fifthteenth presbiteriteryian church serving as a deacon and helping in her community.

Jeannette was married to a James Craig who was also, called home, they had three children however, she was survived by her two daughters Patrica Craig, Theresa Taylor, her younger brothers Robert Powell, Cornell Hill, her grandchildren Cornell, Sylvia, Tony, Donte, Ronnette, Lasandra T, Emmanuel, James,  Diamond, Alexis , Darrell jr, Aleia  and her great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Joziah, Precious, and Tashawn.
