On June 8, 2024, Colorado Springs lost a beloved member of its community with the passing of Jeanie Wood. Jeanie was born on March 31, 1950, and lived her entire life in this beautiful city.

She attended Unknown High School and went on to lead a fulfilling life as a devoted wife to her husband, Clark Wood. Together, they raised a wonderful son named Paul Wood, who brought them immeasurable joy.

Throughout her life, Jeanie was known for her kindhearted nature and unwavering dedication to her family. She cherished spending time with her two grandchildren, who were a constant source of love and laughter.

Jeanie will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
