Jeanette Rose, age 94, of Lakeview Manor, Tawas City, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Bay Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 20, 1915. She married Orbin Rose on Oct. 5, 1935, in Virginia. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Peggy (Bill) Szoke of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Joel (Alma) Rose of Tawas City and Lloyd (Brenda) Rose of St. Clair. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orbin; and by a son, James Orbin Rose Jr. Funeral services were held on Sept. 19 at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home in Madison Heights with Pastor James Schlagel officiating. Interment was in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
