Jeanette Johnson, a beloved resident of Ludowici, Georgia, passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on September 25, 1949, she attended school in Long county School System.

She was united in Holy Matrimony with Nathaniel Johnson. Jeannette adored raising her seven children. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. But she was known most for telling it like it was. Jeannette was a long time member of St. Paul Holiness Church in Ludowici. She retired from Long County Board of Education after 22 years of dedicated service. She instilled in her children “ If you cannot do a person good, do not do them any harm.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Glauvenne (Jeffery) Sanchez Mitchell, Deborah ( Doniver) Johnson- Williams, all of Ludowici, GA and Shannon (Derrick) Johnson- Tippins, Jesup,GA; three sons: Eugene (Maureen) Ashely, Jr., Jimmy Johnson, and Vincent ( Ashley) Johnson of Ludowici, GA; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, love of gardening, and passion for life. Jeanette's legacy of compassion and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.
