Jeanette Black FoyFillmore, CAJeanette Black Foy was born on November 26, 1924, in Fowler, Indiana. She was one of eight children. Jeanette died at home in Fillmore, CA, on November 4th, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Purcell; her husband, Harold; brothers, Maurice and George; and her sisters, Mabel, Martha, and Kate. She is survived by two of her sisters, Virginia and Winifred both of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews; her sons, Harold (Frances) and John (Janet); grandchildren; Jason (Carrie), Jodie (Patrick), Trisha (Lee), and Kristen (Scott); great grandchildren, Makayla, Kristina, Sophie, Milani, Jaron, Diego, Paityn, Gunner, and Colt. Jeanette was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, friend, and colleague. The love she had towards others was exhibited in all she did. Her career as a Registered Nurse allowed her to share her gifts of faith, compassion, patience, support, nurturing, and leadership with those entrusted to her care or within her sphere of responsibility. There are no words to express the void left in the lives of those who cherished her. She will be dearly missed but we know she rejoices to be reunited with those who've gone on before her and we have every hope to see her again one day.Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, 1:00 P.M., at Bible Fellowship Church, 6950 Ralston Street, Ventura, CA 93003.Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
