We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jaylen Mcelwee, who was born on June 6, 2002, in Elkton, Maryland. Jaylen, loving son of Ricky and Dawn Mcelwee, peacefully passed away on August 24, 2025.

Jaylen was a graduate of Glasgow Highschool in 2021 and continued his studies at the University of Delaware. He worked at Auto-Zone while pursuing his dream of becoming a nurse and also dedicated his time to helping in homeless shelters.

During his time at school, Jaylen excelled in sports and was awarded championships in football and baseball. He loved playing football with his brothers Jayden , Jahleel & Kevan. He also enjoyed spending time on the baseball field. In his free time, Jaylen enjoyed working on cars and going to races.

He touched the lives of many with his kind and compassionate spirit and warming smile. He will be deeply missed by all who knew & Loved him.
