Jayla M. Heaven, 22 of East Hartford, CT., departed this life Monday, July 4, 2022, in Hartford.

Jayla was born July 19, 1999, to Rhonda Williams and Donovan Heaven, Sr. Jayla lived in East Hartford her entire life graduating from East Hartford High School, Class of 2017.

She then went on to pursue her passion in the culinary arts as a Chef. She loved to cook and turned her full-time hobby into an entrepreneurial enterprise known as Heavenly Treats.

Besides cooking, Jayla’s family was very important to her. She loved spending time with all of her siblings and niece. She’s known to call her mom several times a day, just to “check-in”.

Jayla was a spirited young lady and the life of any party she attended. Everyone loved her glowing personality, vibrant energy and beautiful smile.

Besides her parents, Jayla leaves to cherish her memories sisters, Ahsile Fearon, of Hartford, CT; Diazha Heaven, of East Hartford, CT; Thrisha and Thrishana Heaven, of Lowell, MA; Nefartari Chester, of New Haven, CT. She also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
