With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved son, friend, and community member, Javius Turner. Born on April 8, 2010 in Galveston, Texas, Javius lived a life full of love, laughter, and service.
Javius was the son of Damon Wheeler and Monica Turner, and although he had no children of his own, he touched the lives of many through his work with the Meals on Wheels organization. His selfless dedication to helping those in need truly made him a hero in our community.
Javius was a bright student, attending Ball High School and participating in the Honors society for gifted children. His passion for learning and thirst for knowledge made him a standout among his peers, and he will be remembered for his academic achievements and intellectual curiosity.
Tragically, on January 2, 2026, Javius passed away from a sudden and unexpected heart attack. His untimely death has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Although our time with Javius was cut short, his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the hearts he inspired. May he rest in peace, forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place.
