Vogeltanz, JasonJason M. Vogeltanz, age 36 of Kewaunee died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 as a result of a work accident. He was born on September 9, 1980 to Gary and Margaret (Sevcik) Vogeltanz.He graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1999. He then attended N.W.T.C and graduated in 2001 as a diesel mechanic. Jason worked for Klemm Tank Lines in Howard for the last eleven years.He married Jamie Mueller on September 24, 2005. Jason was a devoted husband, a loving father and a friend to many. He was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Church, now St. Therese Parish. He loved farming and being on the family farm and maintaining farm equipment.Survivors include his wife, Jamie; two daughters: Emily and Ashley and one son: Jacob; his parents: Gary and Margie Vogeltanz, Stangelville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Mary Mueller, Kewaunee; siblings: Brian Vogeltanz, Kewaunee; Scott (Lynn) Vogeltanz, Milwaukee; Wendy Vogeltanz, Denmark; Stacy Vogeltanz, Milwaukee, Amber Vogeltanz (Mark Yunk), Slovan; sisters-in-law: Amy (Tom) Riemer, Dyckesville; Robin Mueller (Larry Ostermeier), Kewaunee; nieces and nephews: Kara and Kyle (Godson) Vogeltanz; Kaleb (Godson) and Kenzie Yunk; Travis and Zach Riemer and one Goddaughter: Dezi Kalcik. Other survivors include numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Sylvester and Margie Vogeltanz and his maternal grandparents: Charles and Marion Sevcik and one brother-in-law: James W. Mueller.Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 10 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by Christal Wavrunek. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Saturday, March 11 until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville by Fr.
