We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Jason Edwards, who was born on November 26, 1961 in Houston City, Texas. He peacefully passed away on February 12, 2026.

Jason was the beloved son of Jeffrey and Evelyn Edwards, and the proud father of Tiffaney R. Edwards and Bria E. Edwards. He was also a doting grandfather to three grandchildren.

Jason attended Gregory Lincoln High School, where he graduated in 1981. He went on to work for the City of Houston, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2025.

Aside from his work, Jason had a passion for fishing and spending time with his family. He always had a joke ready to make his loved ones laugh, and he will be remembered for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor.

Jason will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents in the great fishing hole in the sky.

Rest in peace, Jason. You may be gone, but your jokes and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
