Jason Audre’ Braithwaite was a caring husband, father, son, and friend. He left this world suddenly on September 15, 2023, at the age of 45. His battle with cancer showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Jason came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Jason was born to Randolph Braithwaite and Violet Braithwaite on the 2nd of December 1977 in Guyana, where he grew up as a child. Jason met Attise while they were working at KFC in Brooklyn where they became insupportable. Jason married Attise and build a beautiful family.

After attending Touro College Jason pursued a career in Culinary Arts. Jason loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals. Jason was gainfully employed as the head chief at Brooklyn Army Terminal, Park Slope Senior Center, Shake Shack, and BK Lobster. Also, Jason worked at the YMCA in Brooklyn and Queens.

Jason hobbies included Aircraft model kits and playing video games on his Xbox. Jason loved watching T.V. shows such as Investigation ID, National Geographic, Food Network, Cooking Channel and Adult Swim.

Jason leaves to morn his wife, (Attise Simpson-Braithwaite), daughters, (Jalisa, Kimberly), son,(Xavier), his mother, (Violet Braithwaite) stepdad, (Anthony Sandiford), father & mother-in-law, (Phillip & Freda Simpson),  three brother-in laws, (Abdula, Jamel and Phillip III), aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends
