We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Jared Rawl, who passed away on January 1, 2025, after a tragic incident involving a GSW to the chest and head. Jared was born on April 8, 1999, in Paterson, New Jersey, and spent his life bringing laughter and joy to those around him.

Jared was known for his honor to his country, his infectious smile, and his horrible dad jokes. He was always ready with a joke or a clever remark to lighten the mood. He found his calling serving his country in the US Navy, where he excelled as a dedicated and hardworking member of the military.

Despite his many accomplishments, Jared will perhaps be best remembered for his love for his family especially his siblings, his love of dad jokes and fashion, and his courageous spirit to service our country. Whether he was going to the grocery store or going to a fancy party, Jared always knew what to wear and how to wear it like no other. His laugh made others around him laugh and his jokes were absolutely terrible but they made you laugh as he lit up the room with his presence alone. He would always have stories about where he traveled during his time in the Navy and always promised to try his best to return home.

Although Jared may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Jared, and may your infectious laughter, smile, and awesome handshakes continue to bring joy wherever you may be.
