It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janiya Cooper, who was born on March 24, 2000, in Brooklyn, New York, United States. Janiya tragically left this world on April 01 2026, at the young age of 26

Janiya is survived by her loving father, Ricky Waters, and her devoted mother, Alvina Johnson. Janiya leaves behind two beautiful children, Jayanna Cooper and Jayvian Cooper, who were her pride and joy.

Although Janiya's time with us was cut short, she will always be remembered for her infectious laughter, her kind heart, and her unwavering love for her family. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Tragically, Janiya's life was taken by suicide, a heartbreaking reminder of the struggles that many individuals face in silence. In this time of grief, we must come together to support one another and seek help for those who may be battling their own internal demons.
